Set up the room for the task

Match the place to the work. Same spot for deep work, a different one for calls and mail.

5 minEvidence: decent

Your brain reads the room before you start. A place where you always do one kind of work becomes a cue for it, and you get going faster. A place where you do everything cues nothing.

If you can't change rooms, change what's in front of you. Clear desk for thinking, second screen for admin. Evidence: decent
